As leaders we can sometimes get stuck behind productivity and deliverables. Yes, they are what we measure and ultimately they are the cause of profit or loss, but if we get too stuck on output and loose touch with the people doing the work along the way, then we are in trouble.
Do you see your destiny yet? Now that you have gone through the Discovering your Identity series, are you clear about where to make your mark, or are you still a little foggy? There is a reason we uncovered all the contributing parts and it is for where they all overlap.
When you hear the word passion, what comes to mind? Is it how you feel about your spouse? Is it the term you use for how you feel about, NASCAR, your cat or even quilting? Could there be different kinds of passion? There is a version of your passion that is designed by God to bring you the energy to do something about it.
Our Spiritual Inheritance has two very interesting components. Firstly, the magnitude of what we inherit from God, simply because we are His, is enormous. It truly makes us capable of miraculous things. The second is a little more sad though.
Welcome back to the 6 part series on discovering your true Identity in Christ. We all seem to have questions about our Identity and about how to discover what we are on this earth for. If you accept the idea that God gives every one of us the tools we need for the job He has in mind for us, then by discovering the tools in our lives, we should begin to see His intentions for us. My hope is that through this series, you will more clearly discover your Identity and in the process, find your destiny.
Last time we covered the endowment of Spiritual Gifts i.e unique abilities birthed in us through our Spiritual awakening that strengthen our contribution in certain areas. Next we will focus on our spiritual Inheritance. This may seem like an obvious topic that might feel out of place among the list of tools that contribute to our unique design, but in reality it is a game changing truth – without which – we would not be near as capable.

Ever had it happen where you just plain ‘run out’? Oh it’s one thing to run out of ideas, but it is completely another when the faith, motivation or determination that brought you here in the first place, seems to be fading. Then what?
At first pass, people seem to make little distinction between praise and affirmation, often substituting the one word for the other. In reality though, there is a measurable difference in the attitude and satisfaction of a person who is praised when compared with a person who is affirmed.
